New Old Spice Spokesperson Extends the Dialogue

Old Spice recently introduced a new character in a refresh of its “Smell Like a Man” ad series. Check out the new commercial here.

The original campaign, debuted in early 2010, was a big hit. In fact, when the ad went viral online Old Spice experienced a 107% increase in sales in one month.

The evolution of the ad may not lead to the same sales increases as the original, but it’s sure to get people talking – which is the point. Get people talking, get them to try to product, tweak, and get them talking some more.

Engagement with a brand is the top objective for marketers in the age of social media. And this new ad refresh, no doubt, will be a huge success.
